The Highlighter that Will Make You Forget About Period Cramps
That's the power of MAC Cosmetics' Extra Dimension SkinFinish. I got it early last year in the shade Beaming Blush. I have used it so much since then that the compact no longer snaps shut and the product is dislodged from the pan already.
Described as a "pink that breaks gold" I like how Beaming Blush looks on morena skin. Despite its almost-holographic shine, it doesn't look unnatural. It's a highlighter that looks good when it catches the light. That is also one of its best qualities for me as I'm not a fan of highlighters that you can see even in the dark, nor am I one for a subtle, inner glow. I want the best of both world: blinding when I need it to be but natural that I don't look like my skin looks like it's burning.
Later on last year, I also got the shade Double Gleam. This one is a "beige that breaks silver." I like using it during the nighttime since silver on my skintone looks a little off on my skin in the sunlight. But I also tend to blend it with Beaming Blush. especially when I want to go a little extra.
If you aren't convinced yet of how much I love this highlighter, do know that all my makeup-loving friends know of the anecdote I shared with you above. It's my mission to convince people that this highlighter is worth the money. I also noticed that it's not the most hyped-up highlighter out there, so I'm doing my part to get the word out.
Then again, maybe I shouldn't be so generous with the information. I'm aiming to stock up on the other shades like Oh, Darling and Show Gold. It sure is part of my everyday essentials bag, right next to my tampons.
